“nu Ovo” was born during a fried egg-based dinner. One of those things you don’t eat any more, if not for a quick meal when you’re alone. One of those things that remind you of your childhood, your grandma, the winter afternoons, traditions. One of those simple and quick things, which however have all you need: tastiness and nutritional properties. A thing that everybody takes for granted. Therefore, the “nu Ovo” project aims at enhancing all this. This is why we have chosen the egg.

“nu Ovo” wants to fully represent all the characteristics of the product at the heart of its philosophy. A perfect and unique shape, the charm of a philosophical enigma, endless properties enclosed in a well-defined space and time, more than one thousand possibilities of use. Tastiness is the prevailing quality, especially when the egg is fresh, organic and local.
What won’t you find here at our place?
You won’t find refined flours, because we use organic flour and natural yeast.
You won’t find hurry, but quickness, which is totally different.
You won’t find the typical Florentine cuisine, but Florentine elements used to create innovative dishes. Heart and beauty, here’s the typical Florentine qualities.
You won’t find a tourist menu, because freedom of taste is the first step to eat well. And we want you to eat very well.
You won’t find mass-produced industrial eggs, because our eggs are exclusively of organic origin.
You won’t find dinner. We have chosen to be open only for lunch to focus all our energies in just one part of the day. Making it special.
